Stephanie and I truly enjoyed our trip to BC. Travel was a little rough on Aaron, but he had fun, too. Aaron met Grandma, Auntie Donna, Auntie Ann and Uncle Bob, Lynne, and Marlaine for the first time! BC is absolutely beautiful. Daddy was delighted that we made it to the Pannekoekenhuis twice and is still full from the Boer's breakfast.

Browns Draft 2009
Inflated optimism is what marks NFL draft weekend for the Cleveland Browns fan. Once the season starts, it's life in the doldrums once again! Can anyone commiserate?! Steeler fan?! I didn't think so ... too busy winning Super Bowls.
I'm turning my frown upside down! The Browns had a very good draft. Aaron agrees, and he is optimistic as well getting decked out in his new duds. Thanks Uncle Paul and Aunt Laura!! If Cleveland falters, there's always the Eagles. Now they had a really good draft!

Happy Easter 2009!
Here are some pics from yesterday's get-together at Pake and Beppe's house. It was an enjoyable day, and everyone ate to the gunnels as usual. Aaron's burpies got used plenty and other times some shirts, pants, or blouses received the white flow quite nicely! There's plenty of laundry to be done today rest assured!

Bracketology - A Neologism
Aaron is quickly grasping the lexicon of the college basketball tournament and is mastering Bracketology. You see, he is tied for second in a family college basketball tournament challenge ... such a precocious boy in his knowledge of this year's teams! He has 14 of 16 Sweet 16 teams correct! Actually, Aaron approached his brackets very logically and picked all the higher seeds. Daddy was somewhat illogical (as usual) in his approach. Notwithstanding, he has 13 of 16 teams correct, and Mommy has 15 of 16 teams correct. Daddy is curiously deaf when Mommy reminds Daddy that she is in first place in the pool. Mommy suggested that she and Aaron fill out their own brackets even before the opportunity came up to enter a pool. Daddy is suspicious of collusion as Aaron likely knew that Mommy's Masters in Education from BGSU (Curriculum and Teaching) included a three (3) credit hour course in ... you guessed it - Bracketology.

Auntie Ann's Video
We here at Jots and Tittles take requests for pics/video and are happy to oblige. So Auntie Ann, here is your Aaron video! He is now 11.5 lbs, 24 inches, and through phase one (1) of his shots. Lately, he has had the sniffles, but he was in a jovial mood at dinner time tonight.

Aaron's First Smile was at Beppe!
Aaron's first smile was at Beppe as she was talking to him after dinner last weekend. Things are going great, and Aaron is growing by leaps and bounds. It is amazing to observe his development. After a diaper change the other day, Aaron was rotating his head and moving his eyes to wherever my head was moving. This level of engagement was a precious moment to me for the week. Here are some new pics taken this a.m.
We continue to clean and re-arrange various things post kitchen, family room, and bathroom project. We are truly enjoying these parts of our home much more. We are having some friends over tonight to celebrate project completion. Big A is going to get plenty of attention, and we didn't want him to look rumpled, so we gave him a bath. He is now squeaky-clean.
